Getting to Know Your Machine/Beginning Sewing

| Skill Details: | This class will teach you the basics of your sewing machine and how to thread and wind a bobbin. You will be sewing various stitches on fabric to make your decorative envelope pillow. This class is the required class for beginners to continue with future classes. |
| Materials Included: | The purchase of a precut kit is required. It will include: *1 pillow form, *2 - 16 |
| Requirements: | You will need to bring: *Thread in various colors for decorative stitches. We have some store thread for your use. Darker colors and variegated colors are recommended; *Sewing machine, foot pedal, power cord and owner's manual; *Decorative sewing foot that comes with your machine; *Machine Needles - size 80 or 90; *Screw driver; *Scissors; *Pins and/or Clover clips; *Bobbins |
